The Day of PENTECOST A red-letter day! Pentecost Day was a wonderful and exciting time in our community, with so much exciting evidence of the Holy Spirit working among us! Eight persons became members, by means of Holy Baptism, Affirmation of Baptism, or transfer of membership from another congregation. Our new friends come from many different Christian backgrounds, including Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Roman Catholic, Jehovah's Witness and even the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod! Catch mor exciting parish news in the next Spotlight. Pentecost was a fitting conclusion of the entire Easter Season, and we feel extremely blessed and enriched by God in our ministry. New opportunities continue to open for us, as our doors are open to people from all backgrounds and with all levels of interest and knowledge of the faith.
