Catechism and Membership
A new Adult Inquirer's Class is forming in Fall 2012. This is a 5-week unit of study with Pastor Dan, leading to baptism or membership in the church. No one is required to join, but may attend simply to get a better understanding of the Christian faith and our local mission.

August 2012: Wednesday Adult Study is on summer break, but will commence again in mid-September with a new course of study.
Join us Wednesday evenings at 7:30, or come and share a potluck supper with us at 6:30 each week. We are lively, probing, questioning and non-traditional!
Previous Topics: Acts of the Apostles, Song of Songs, Gospel of John, Women of the Bible, What Christians Need to Know About Islam, Letter to the Romans, Angels in the Bible.

Gay Men's Study/Support Group
We have tossed this idea around for several years. The presence of lesbian/gay, bisexual and transgender Christians in the church continues to inflame people with disagreement, hatred and even violence. Why are we so accepting? Are we ignoring the central teachings of the Christian faith?
If there is enough interest, we will form a small study/support group, probably to meet in someone's home, to discuss the relevant things which support us in faith and grace. This is not a Bible Study, but something much broader, including plenty of time to share the life and faith experiences we have all had which either shaped us as gay people or sent us running away from the church for many years.
