We are forward-looking and fast-thinking about its mission and ministry in the 21st Century. | • With a strong record of community service, we offer a Community Garden, and operate a weekly Hollywood Community Food Pantry for the hungry of our neighborhood. | | | • Welcoming the Hollywood film and entertainment industries, we stage Hollywood Call Back quarterly receptions for emerging film makers, actors and other professionals. |  | | • Home to numerous community arts events and programs, we host the Hollywood Master Chorale, Silverlake Children’s Theatre Group, Los Feliz Art Walk, and serve as a frequent filming location. |  | | • Serving those living with HIV/AIDS through advocacy and education, and remembering those we have lost to this disease, we launched Hollywood Remembers, Inc. for ongoing service to the greater community. When the world forgets, Hollywood Remembers. |  | | • Standing with all who are in recovery from drug/alcohol or other addictions, we welcome twenty 12-step meetings each week, and offer individual pastoral counseling centered on spiritual growth in recovery. |  | | • Making a difference in the lives of those who are, or have been, incarcerated, we operate Mariposa Prison & Parole Ministry that serves 120 people in 20 prisons, on parole or probation or under community supervision (AB109). |  | | • Our doors are open to sexual minorities. A member congregation of the Reconciling in Christ program of Lutherans Concerned, we especially welcome LGBTQ people of faith and those who love them. |  | | • Grounded in both evangelical and catholic roots, we take the Bible seriously, not loiterally.
